InFiler runs on Microsoft's Office add-in platform within Microsoft's own permission and security framework. Our backend runs on a SOC 2 certified provider, on infrastructure exclusively hosted in North America.
No AI or LLM Processing

No, it works directly in your Outlook or Gmail inbox. InFiler appears as an add-in inside the email you're already reading, so you never have to switch to another app or inbox to take action.

No. InFiler operates on zero data retention: your emails, attachments, and client data are never stored on our servers. When you file an email, the data passes directly from your Outlook mailbox to your connected app and lives only there.
InFiler runs inside Microsoft's Office add-in platform, which means your mailbox access is governed by the same permission and security framework protecting the rest of your Microsoft 365 environment. No. InFiler does not route your data through generative AI services or third-party LLMs. We took this position deliberately: adding an AI processing layer to privileged client communication creates an exposure point that most firms have no way to audit. InFiler reduces the admin work without expanding your data surface.
For most individual and small-firm Microsoft 365 accounts, no — you can install InFiler directly yourself from the Office Store. Some organizations restrict add-in installation by policy, in which case your Microsoft 365 administrator will need to approve or deploy it centrally. If you're unsure, try installing it: if your tenant blocks it, Outlook will tell you.
InFiler has a free plan that supports one app connection. Standard is $6.50 per seat per month billed annually (3 app connections, 100 filings per month).
